Announcements 10/14/2022

The Student Council is sponsoring a Halloween fun night for the junior high!
When: Saturday, October 22nd, 8:00pm – 10:00pm (Doors will open at 7:30pm and close at 8:00pm)
Where: Bishop Neumann Gym – use the doors in the cafeteria by the concession stand.
What: Dodgeball tournament, fun competitions, dancing, and prizes!
Who: Only Bishop Neumann students may attend
Cost: $2 if you wear a Halloween costume, $3 if you wear jeans
Dress Code: Students who wear a costume should dress modestly and appropriately.  Students who do not wear a costume must wear jeans following the rules in the hand book for jean days.
Other: Bring extra money to purchase ice cream and drinks; Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes!

Once you have signed in at the dance you will only be able to leave before the end of the dance if you are picked up by your parents.  No phone calls or notes from parents are accepted as permission to leave the dance early.  All students must list a parent’s phone number in case of emergencies.  Make sure you have transportation arranged following the dance.

If you have any questions please speak with a Student Council member, Mrs. Chvatal, Mrs. Grady, or Mr. Waldman.


Reminders for retreats on Monday:

  • Dress Code-Neumann t-shirt, jeans, and a jacket
  • Take a class picture and send other pictures from the day to Jennifer Whitney.
  • All students bring a water bottle.
  • 7-10th grades bring a sack lunch.
  • 11th-12th– bring money for lunch.


  • Students are to report to their departure locations as soon as the first bell rings. Students should not report to 1st period.  Teachers, please get there right away so we can get on the road and take attendance.  Let Patty know who is absent.

8th – band room

9th – South side of the cafeteria

10th  – east side of the gym by the stage

11th – North side of cafeteria

12th – west side of gym


There are many items in the library’s lost and found box, including clothes, lunch boxes, and shoes (your mom REALLY wants you to locate these items!) and as we are at the end of the quarter, I will be donating whatever is not claimed.  Please come and check for your stuff by Wed. 10/19.


Updated list: The following students need to have their textbook loan application forms returned to the office.  Forms were given at Parent/Teacher Conferences, if your parents attended. If you need a form, please collect from the office.
