Meeting April 20th-Plan for Special Education Services
On April 20th 2023 at 8:30 am, a meeting conducted by Wahoo Public Schools will take place at Union Bank. The purpose of the meeting will be to provide an opportunity for parents and representatives of nonpublic schools to participate in the development of a plan for providing special education
Army National Guard Visit Day 4/2/23
Students if you would like to learn more about the Army National Guard, they are hosting a visit day on April 2nd at Camp Ashland. Stop by Mrs. Chvatal’s office to learn more!
Weekly Announcements 2/9/2023
Congratulations to students who made the honor roll this past semester. Attached is a the list. Make a note that next Wednesday, February 15th will have a regular start, 8:10am and an early dismissal, 1:40 due to Parent/Teacher conferences 4:30 – 6:30. It will also $1 jean day for FCCLA.
2023-2024 Good Shepherd Scholarship Information
Financial aid is available to qualifying families for the 2023 -24 school year. From January 1st through March 31st parents/guardians are able to apply through the FACTS Scholarship Management Program. Please review the information and contact our office should you have any questions. We encourage you NOT to wait too
Platte Valley Equipment hosting Academy Day
Platte Valley Equipment is hosting an Academy Day on March 5th in Fremont. You will explore the past, present, and future of agriculture and learn how technology is changing farming. If you are interested in attending, please see Mrs. Chvatal.
Iowa Testing – All 7th, 8th, and 9th graders will be completing Iowa Testing on Monday, Feb. 27th and Tuesday, Feb. 28th during the mornings. Please try to refrain from scheduling appointments for your students on these two days if at all possible. Thank you!
UNK Health Science Camps
UNK is hosting several camps to allow 7 – 12th graders an opportunity to explore health science programs, scholarships, and careers. These camps are free and a great opportunity to explore! If you’re interested, see Mrs. Chvatal. 9th – 12th grades: Feb. 7th or Apr. 11th 7th – 8th grades:
Juniors-Outstanding High School Leader Award
Juniors – Midland University and Pinnacle Bank are once again looking for student nominations for their Outstanding High School Leader Award. This award is based on your leadership abilities & achievements. It can earn you a $25,000/yr. scholarship for four years to Midland. If you are interested, please see Mrs.

ASVAB testing: We will be offering the ASVAB test for juniors and seniors in January. While the ASVAB test is used by the military, it also offers a great option for any student to gain practice and information on a standardized academic test. It also offers a great career component
