FFA

Bishop Neumann FFA

Future Farmers of America (FFA) is the Career and Technical Student Organization paired with Agricultural Education classes. All students enrolled in Agriculture classes have FFA opportunities available to them. Throughout FFA, members can take the knowledge they are learning in ag classes and participate in various contest and events. Agriculture Classes and FFA opportunities include traditional Ag activities like livestock, crops and welding but also include expanded interests like landscaping, small animal care and floriculture. Student’s leadership is developed through speaking events, team demonstrations and speakers and conferences.

Today’s Agricultural Education carries on the tradition of providing instruction through an integrated model of classroom and laboratory instruction, leadership development through FFA and experiential work-based learning through a student’s individualized Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) program. These opportunities are extended to the Wahoo Public High School students as they participate in the Bishop Neumann Ag classes and FFA chapter as well.
