Retreats

Bishop Neumann High School offers annual retreat days for our students and the Lincoln Diocese hosts several youth retreats throughout the year that our students may attend.

Bishop Neumann Retreats:

One-day retreats are hosted for students in grades 7-12 during the school year.  The retreats are led by faculty, staff, and Priests.

7th grade-St. Mary’s, Ashland and The Holy Family Shrine-Theme-Courage

8th grade-Catholic Social Services and The Carmelite Convent-Theme- Living Lives of Service

9th grade-St. Gregory the Great Seminary-Theme-Vocations

10th grade- The School Sisters of Christ the King – Theme – Living the Life of Christ

11th grade-The John Paul II Newman Center, Omaha -Theme – Identity

12th grade- The St. Thomas Aquinas Newman Center, Lincoln – Theme – My Faith, My Future

Lincoln Diocese Retreats:

Teens Encounter Christ (TEC):  TEC is a three-day retreat for high school juniors-seniors and college freshman-sophomores that focuses on the Paschal Mystery. Totus Tuus:  A summer Catholic catechetical program hosted by parishes in which four trained college students and seminarians present a week-long parish camp of prayer, music, scripture, and catechism for the 1st-12th grade students.  For more information, click here:  Totus Tuus

 

SKY Camp (Catholic Summer Camp for Youth) is a fun, prayerful, and powerful experience for children going into grades 5-9!Camp activities include Mass, swimming, catechesis, skits, Reconciliation, campfires, basketball, crafts, archery, music, and a multitude of outdoor games. Each camper receives an “official SKY t-shirt” displaying the current year’s theme. For more information, click here: Sky Camp

 

Campin’ with the Marians – The Marian Sisters of the Diocese of Lincoln sponsor an annual summer camp, Campin’ with the Marians, at Camp Kateri.  The camp is for girls entering grades 6-9. More information and registration fliers can be found at www.mariansisters.org.  If you have questions, you may contact the Marian Sisters at 402-786-2750.  Counselors are also needed and the opportunity is open for girls who are entering 10th grade through college on an application basis.  Please inquire about counseling positions at marianscamping@gmail.com.
